Network in Berchtesgadener Land has set a joint energy savings target
The Berchtesgadener Land energy efficiency and climate protection network set the joint network target at the 4th network meeting at the Wieninger brewery. In the period from 2023 to 2025, 5.5% of final energy and 14% of CO2 emissions are to be saved compared to the base year 2022. In addition, 3,000 kW peak of renewable energies are to be added during this period.
The network was founded in October 2022 by Berchtesgadener Land Wirtschaftsservice. Eleven companies from a wide range of sectors and of different sizes have joined forces to discuss energy-related issues and to receive further training through a moderated exchange of experiences. Together, the companies want to reduce energy consumption and cut emissions. Over the course of 2023, a target-setting workshop was held at each company, in which FfE identified and discussed individual energy efficiency and savings potential with the companies. The network target was derived from the results of these individual meetings and defined by the companies at the network meeting on 20.09.2023.
The following companies are part of the network:
- Trans-Textil (Freilassing)
- Abel laundry (Anger)
- SÜD-Metall Beschläge (Ainring)
- MAFO Systemtechnik (Teisendorf)
- Schnurr (Bischofswiesen)
- Dolomitwerk Jettenberg Schöndorfer (Schneizlreuth)
- Klosterhof – Alpine Hideaway & Spa (Bayerisch Gmain)
- Wieninger Brewery (Teisendorf)
- KIEFEL (Freilassing)
- Lindner Group (Arnsdorf, LK Rottal-Inn)
- Agatharied Hospital (Hausham, LK Miesbach)
In order to support the achievement of targets and track progress, a monitoring meeting is now held every year in the first quarter.
