Transformation plans

To achieve Germany's climate targets, specific goals must be met across all sectors, including industry. In the past, several measures to improve energy efficiency and reduce energy consumption have already been implemented in the industrial sector. The next step is to transition the energy supply as comprehensively as possible. Transformation plans are being developed to systematically implement this transition and provide support to companies along the way.

Our offer

FfE supports companies in developing site-specific transformation plans. This involves combining various energy-saving and emissions-reduction strategies (with a focus on energy-related emissions) to create coherent overall concepts. These concepts are then evaluated in terms of energy efficiency, economic feasibility, and CO₂ emissions reduction. The goal is to provide companies with clear guidance on how a sustainable energy supply can be implemented at their site, and which measures or combinations of measures are most suitable for achieving this.

Over the past three years, FfE has developed transformation plans for several companies, all of which have successfully received funding through Module 5 of the Energy Efficiency in Industry funding program.
