CCUS-Cluster Consulting: Advice and Support for Regional CCUS Clusters
The ramp-up of a sustainable carbon economy will develop from regional pilot regions. Starting in areas with a particularly high demand for CCUS solutions, so-called CCUS clusters, a corresponding CO₂ infrastructure is to be established. The clusters must be designed in such a way that they take all stakeholders into account, function economically in the ramp-up phase and can ultimately be embedded in a supra-regional value chain in the long term. With the help of science-based consulting, coherent overall concepts can be designed based on the various company-specific plans, thus ensuring long-term success.

Our offer
We offer our support throughout the entire ramp-up phase of regional CCUS clusters. First, we identify suitable regions and make contact with potential partners. In doing so, we draw on our network in the industry and energy sector. Using scenario-based transformation paths for industry and regional analyses, we can then develop coherent, time-based concepts for the development of CCUS cluster regions. This takes place with broad stakeholder participation, which is managed by FfE as a neutral intermediary. As such, we also support the public communication of the project and help to convey its socio-economic benefits.
