unIT-e² Report on Challenges and Obstacles – What are the challenges in the intelligent grid integration of electric vehicles?
In the joint project unIT-e², FfE, in cooperation with a consortium of 29 partners, is addressing issues in the context of grid integration of electric vehicles, from various scientific analyses to technical development and concrete implementation in field tests. The partners cover the entire energy industry process chain, which means that the necessary solutions for communication and connection from the grid to the vehicle can be mapped and implemented in the project.
After the first year of the project, a number of challenges were identified and specified, which will be addressed in further project work. In addition, a need for legal or political adaptation was also identified at various points. As of November 2022, these findings are compactly presented and detailed in the unIT-e² Report on Challenges and Obstacles for the relevant topics within the project.
