Production, application, storage, transportation and storage of hydrogen – FfE develops important modules for DIHK certificate course
By 2050, Germany aims to be almost completely climate-neutral. This is only possible if greenhouse gas emissions are massively reduced. To achieve this, the energy supply and economic structure must change fundamentally. To meet this challenge, companies – especially in the industry, infrastructure and transport sectors – need professionals specialized in hydrogen. This is exactly where the new, nationwide certificate course “Expert for Hydrogen Applications (IHK)” comes in.
The qualification concept imparts fundamental knowledge about hydrogen technology as a pioneering, climate-friendly energy source across industries and reveals the potential and diverse applications of hydrogen along the entire value chain. The FfE covers at this point the modules for production, application as well as storage and transport of hydrogen. As part of the IHK certificate course, the participants develop the necessary technical and personal skills to be able to professionally assess the use of hydrogen applications in the context of energy transition. This happens regardless of the industry or economic sector of the respective company.
