County Donau-Ries – Project “Best-Practice-Plattform”

In order to give special municipal energy transition projects a stage and encourage the exchange of ideas, the Donau-Ries county intends to set up a digital best practice platform. This is meant to provide municipalities interested in similar projects with an initial overview of the most important key data and background information and relevant contacts and stimulate the joint exchange of experiences.

FfE was commissioned to support the Donau-Ries county in initiating the best practice platform with a project data collection, evaluation, and preparation. The aim is to include as many county municipalities as possible by publishing their reference projects.

The task packages of the survey cover the creation of a concept for the best practice platform, an elaborated questionnaire for the project profile, the contacting of the municipalities and possible participants, the evaluation of the completed questionnaires, and the creation of the project profiles. These are then made available to the district in a suitable form for integration into its homepage. During the entire duration of the project, FfE will also be on hand to advise participants on any technical queries they may have.

FfE has already successfully supported the district of Donau-Ries in previous projects on the subject of the energy transition, for example, in the preparation of the energy utilization plans. The development of the generation and consumption of (renewable) electricity and heat in the Donau-Ries district has since been regularly recorded by FfE, and the data processed for the district.
