3. Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Network 4E³

Motivation

Energy efficiency and climate protection networks offer an effective opportunity for cooperation and the exchange of experiences in increasing energy efficiency and decarbonization within companies. By participating in such networks, companies can not only reduce their energy costs, but also contribute to climate protection, strengthen their image and market position, and at the same time benefit from shared experience within the network.

From the 2nd to the 3rd Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Network

Following the successful completion of the predecessor network 4E2, the continuation of the network was launched on December 3, 2025, under the title 4E3. Unlike 4E2, the launch was no longer affected by COVID-19 and could once again take place in person on site. A total of ten companies took part. Some of them had already been involved in the first and second phases of the network, supplemented by a few new faces.

Participating companies in the 3rd Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Network

  • ADAC
  • BAYERNOIL Raffineriegesellschaft mbH
  • BSH Hausgeräte GmbH
  • Firmengruppe Max Bögl
  • Karwendel Werke
  • Lindner SE
  • L. Gore & Associates GmbH
  • Roche Diagnostics GmbH
  • Vermes Microdispensing GmbH

Structure and organisation of the network

Analogous to our other energy efficiency and climate protection networks, the 3rd Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Network will also be held in the form of moderated workshops accompanied by energy technology. A schematic representation of the network as well as the actors involved and their roles can be found in the following figures:

Katharina Gruber, Andreas Fill and Frank Veitengruber will moderate the content and energy-related topics, supported by Anna Gruber.

Duration and Topics

The network started in December 2025 with a kick-off event and is expected to run until the second quarter of 2029. In regular workshops, which take place approximately quarterly, the participants exchange ideas on jointly prioritized topics – such as the integration of renewable energy sources, the optimization of existing compressed air networks or the economic evaluation of transformation paths. The Individual Goal-Setting Dates will start in the first quarter of 2026.
