Two New Networks Launch in Q1 2026 – Join Now!

In the first quarter of 2026, two complementary networks will kick off, providing companies with practical support on their path to decarbonization – the Energy Efficiency & Climate Protection Network (EEN Schwaben) and the Waste Heat Network – a flagship project for efficient heat utilization. Both programs combine expertise, peer learning, and monitoring – but with different thematic depth and levels of impact.

Energy Efficiency & Climate Protection Network (EEN Schwaben)

In this network, FfE, together with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK) Schwaben as the network carrier, brings companies together to jointly implement measures that increase energy efficiency and reduce CO₂ emissions. Participants benefit from:

  • Target-setting workshops to identify individual savings potential
  • Regular expert meetings featuring best practices and current trends
  • Monitoring according to official quality standards of the Energy Efficiency and Climate Protection Networks Initiative (IEEKN)
  • Additional advantages such as higher funding rates in the EEW program and training opportunities

Network focus: Comprehensive efficiency improvements, decarbonization, and exchange on cross-sectional technologies – ideal for companies looking to advance their energy and climate strategies.

Waste Heat Network – Flagship Project for Efficient Heat Utilization

This network focuses on the use of industrial waste heat. The goal is to connect companies, municipalities, and heating network operators to unlock untapped potential and develop concrete solutions for the heat transition. Highlights include:

  • Technical workshops on regulatory and economic aspects of waste heat utilization
  • Collaboration with Stadtwerke Augsburg and the AwaNetz project for practical solutions
  • Monitoring for transparency and planning security
  • Support with funding programs and strategic implementation

Added value: Ideal for companies with significant heat sources or demand that want to actively contribute to the regional heat transition.

Which option is right for you?

  • You want a broad approach (electricity, heat, cross-sectional technologies, organization, flexibility) → EEN Schwaben.
  • You have significant heat sources or demand and want to specifically utilize or feed in waste heat → Waste Heat Network.
  • Both apply? Perfect – leverage synergies: Professionalize measures and KPIs in EEN, and unlock large heat streams in the Waste Heat Network.

Both networks start in Q1 2026 – be part of shaping the future of energy efficiency and heat utilization!
Duration:

  • EEN Schwaben until Q2/2029
  • Waste Heat Network until Q3/2028
