The Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Network 4E³ enters its third round
Following the successful completion of the predecessor network 4E2, the successor network 4E3 was officially launched on December 3, 2025. The impressive results of the first two phases motivated the participants to continue the network—this time with another in-person kick-off at the FfE.

The new network brings together companies from the first two rounds and is supplemented by new participants. FfE continues to provide energy technology consulting and moderation services.
Goals of the network
The network continues to pursue the common goal of
- continuously increasing energy efficiency,
- expanding the use of renewable energies,
- reducing energy costs, and
- sustainably reducing CO₂ emissions.
This is achieved through regular workshops in which experiences are exchanged and successful implementation examples are presented. Specialist presentations – some by external experts – explore the topics that participants are interested in in greater depth.
A key element remains the individual goal-setting workshop on site, in which further savings potential is identified and prioritized. Decarbonization options are also becoming increasingly important in this context. Efficiency measures continue to be discussed jointly and, where necessary, evaluated in terms of energy and economic efficiency.
To evaluate efficiency gains and emission reductions, we plan to use regression analysis for each location and energy source. The resulting key figures will be incorporated into annual monitoring at both the company and network levels.
Join now – participation still possible
As the substantive work and practical networking meetings will not begin until the first quarter of 2026, interested companies still have the opportunity to join the network at a later date.
