Invitation to the information event: “Reallabore der Energiewende: Added Value for the System and Actors”
Use the advantages of a real laboratory and bridge the gap between concept and real operation! Years of research in the field of climate protection and energy management/technology have produced many concepts on how the transformation to a climate-neutral energy system can be designed. However, to this day there is often a lack of concrete implementation of the ideas and the establishment of new technologies on the market. It is difficult to foresee the full potential of an innovative technology or changes in the framework conditions are necessary to initiate change.
This is exactly where the funding concept of the “Reallabore der Energiewende” comes in and offers the participating companies decisive advantages: Through science-based design, promising technologies can be tested in real operation. By joining forces in consortia, the transformation process can be tackled and mastered together with other stakeholders. The format’s platform enables close exchange with partners and thus leverages synergies. The bottom line is that all partners benefit from participating in a real laboratory.
This is exactly what the event of the Bayerische Koordinierungsstelle Reallabore an der FfE (BayKoRL) is all about. After the format of the ” Reallabore der Energiewende” was examined in more detail at the first BayKoRL event in February 2022, today we will take a look at what the concrete path from the idea to the application for funding to a real laboratory looks like, how such a real laboratory is designed and which topics can be addressed in it. The speakers will also explain what advantages have arisen for those involved after the end of the project. The event offers participants the unique opportunity to be inspired to come up with new ideas and to get to know the advantages and opportunities of a real laboratory.
We look forward to the following speakers:
- Philipp Berr (Head of Department in the Office for Economics and Science of the City of Regensburg) uses the example of Regensburg to explain how a real laboratory idea for the transformation of the industrial location was developed together with the BayKoRL.
- Albrecht Reuter (Managing Director of Fichtner IT Consulting and overall project manager of the SINTEG project C/sells) looks back at what remains after the end of a real laboratory.
The event is aimed at the entire energy transition community in all phases of the project development of a real laboratory. After the lectures there will be enough time for questions for the speakers and the experts from BayKoRL!
To take part in the event, simply register via the registration link – we look forward to a large audience and discussions about real laboratories of the energy transition!
