FfE cooperation forums: Explaining rather than demanding – finding solutions together – strengthening the business location

The cooperation forums bring together companies from key industries and the energy sector to develop practical solutions for grid connection and grid integration—one of the central issues for the ramp-up of many industries. This enables companies to implement solutions more quickly and jointly make an important contribution to the competitiveness of Germany as a business location.

We are already working with over 50 companies in the large-scale battery storage cooperation forum, and further forums on electrolysis, data centers, electrification in logistics, and electrification of industry will start in February 2026.

Would you like to participate?

Below you will find the contact persons and dates for the non-binding initial meetings for the newly launched forums:

  • Electrolysis Cooperation Forum
An initial meeting took place in November. Please feel free to contact David Ruprecht to discuss this further.
  • Data Center Cooperation Forum
📅The first initialization meeting took place on December 3, 2025. In addition, an additional meeting for interested parties will be held on December 15, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Electrolysis Cooperation Forum

In the current challenging market environment, fragmented knowledge and a lack of exchange make it difficult to successfully implement electrolysis projects.

What we offer:

  • We work with partners to guide you through the challenges of developing electrolysis projects, and you leverage synergy potential in exchange with all stakeholder groups involved.
  • You receive accumulated knowledge from science-based and practical analyses for your own projects and political communication.
  • You benefit from our network, our energy industry expertise (since 1949), and the know-how from the flagship hydrogen projects Trans4Real and TransHyDE.
Data Center Cooperation Forum

The growing power requirements of data centers pose new challenges for energy systems and infrastructures and require close coordination between all stakeholders to ensure security of supply, data sovereignty, energy efficiency, and sustainability.

What we offer:

  • We guide you through the challenges of integrating data centers into the energy system.
  • In the cooperation forum, we structure the exchange, organize workshops, and generate scientific results. This allows you to build up targeted knowledge.
  • We bridge the gap between data centers and the energy industry to jointly design solutions.
  • You benefit from our network, our energy industry expertise (since 1949), and our know-how from projects on grid connection, flexibilities, and waste heat.
Cooperation Forum on Electrification in Logistics

Electrification confronts logistics companies with the complexity of the energy industry and makes it necessary to coordinate with players with whom they have had little contact in the past.

What we offer:

  • We navigate you and your partners through the challenges of electrifying logistics fleets, and you learn from exchanges with other logistics providers.
  • We build bridges between the logistics and energy industries to develop solutions together.
  • This allows you to build expertise and receive clear, actionable guidelines and a planning tool.
  • You benefit from our network, our energy industry expertise (since 1949), and our know-how from flagship projects on the electrification of logistics: NEFTON, Bid-E-V, and SPIRIT-E.
Cooperation Forum on Electrification in Industry

The implementation of measures for the electrification and hybridization of production processes is associated with hurdles in practice and requires interaction with the upstream energy infrastructure.

What we offer:

  • We work with partners to guide you through the challenges of electrifying industrial processes. You learn through exchanges with other companies and network operators.
  • We build bridges between industry and the energy sector (network operators and utilities) to develop solutions together.
  • You build expertise in the jointly identified fields of action and eliminate ambiguities for successful implementation of measures.
  • You benefit from our network, our energy industry expertise (since 1949), and our know-how from practical projects (energy efficiency networks, transformation plans, etc.) and various industry studies.
