Measurements and Analysis

Measurements and analyses are often an important requirement for the revelation and realization of energy-saving potentials. Manufacturers’ instructions are often only valid for ideal circumstances or are not available at all. Consequently, the real amount of energy losses is often unknown. This prohibits implementing saving measures, even if they could be carried out cost-effectively.

Additionally, even promising technologies can prove to be insufficient when testing them in practice. This is where suitable measuring procedures can provide insights in advance.

Possible tasks of the Research Center for Energy Economics (FfE) are:

  • Measurements in industrial facilities, energy management and optimization

  • Verification and falsification of economic interrelations by measurements and analyses

  • Measuring of batteries and other energy storages at the test facility
